ASPI Partnership

The Northern Territory Government has an established partnership with the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI). Together we promote a sustained research focus on the security of Australia’s north and the north’s critical role in contributing to the broader security of Australia.

The partnership has led to the development of the Northern Australia Strategic Policy Centre which oversees two programs of work. The North and Australia’s Security and Nation-building in the North.

ASPI is a non-partisan think tank playing a leading role in Australia’s policy debates and analysis on defence, cyber policy, counter-terrorism, boarder security, law enforcement and risk and resilience.

The ASPI research program is engaging Australian Government and international decision makers, industry decision makers and influencers on the strategic importance and future development of the NT.
